From September to April, we host weekly department seminars most Friday afternoons. These presentations provide opportunities to share research and ideas with our colleagues both from within Dalhousie and from around the world. Students and people from other faculties and departments are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Department Seminars are usually held on Friday afternoons from 3:30 pm to 5 pm in Economics Seminar Room 1 (6214 University Avenue) unless otherwise advertised.
The John F. Graham Memorial Lecture is an annual event. Our guest speaker normally presents three lectures: the John F. Graham Memorial Lecture, the Graham Student Seminar, as well as the Department Seminar the following day. Both the Graham Lecture and the Student Seminar are non-technical lectures and suitable for the general public.
